In January 2025, Elia Dorell is seventeen and founds DECARMY in Paris.
The non-profit publishes Decarmy: a guide listing places, products and services for living with less carbon. Every entry rests on a source. What cannot be checked is not published.
The DecaPrize follows from it. A guide says where to go. A prize says what deserves to be taken up elsewhere.

PROCESS
The evening lasts three hours. The work behind it lasts months.
Every candidate is documented against the method. Three finalists per area take the stage. One of them receives the trophy.

CRITERIA
Three criteria judge every candidate: CO₂ avoided, people reached, the ability to be reproduced.
Each area breaks them into weighted items. Food’s are published. The other three will follow before the finalists are announced.
